Smudging on press sits in the same cluster. It is a press-side defect, caught before the garment ships, which makes it cheaper than a wash failure and far easier to pin to the run it came from. The material names the defect and stops there. No ink system, no press model, no figure on how often it happens. Logged here for two reasons: it surfaced inside the same recurring group as the wash failures, and it is the one defect on this list you can still stop before the box goes out.

DTF heat press pressure marks round out the group. The mark is a finishing defect, visible on the garment, attributed in the queue entry to heat press pressure. Again the material gives the failure mode and nothing more: no temperature, no dwell time, no pressure setting, no brand. For shops that added DTF alongside screen work, the useful read is that pressure marks are being discussed in the same breath as cracking and smudging, by the same community, in the same week. Verdict of the week

Claim: USPS is moving its dimensional-weight DIM factor to 139 effective 12 July 2026, with fractional inches now rounding up, said to be confirmed verbatim through the Federal Register's own public API after the PDF and HTML routes failed. Rating: No evidence. Why: 139 appears in none of the retrieved sources, and Federal Register document 2026-09785 returned an access-denied CAPTCHA interstitial rather than document text, so no DIM factor, no 12 July 2026 effective date and no rounding rule were ever captured; the only other mention is a sweep line restating the claim, which is not independent evidence, and the claim of a verbatim API confirmation is contradicted by the single Federal Register retrieval on hand, which shows the fetch was blocked.
